How does it feel cruising, during throttle snaps at different rpm's while driving, and WOT from standing still? With your build it should be able to smoke the tires from a stop, and a downshift to high 3's-4500 rpm's should set you back in the seat. The carb is too small for much high rpm (over 5500) performance which isn't a deal breaker to me. How much vac advance in the dizzy and what's your 'all in' timing set at and when does it come in? Your motor should be a torque monster and should drive that way. Not a ton of HP, but more than enough.

Having said that, I will very likely install the EFI before I re-gear.
i agree, see what additional benefits the efi bring to you before regearing. that motor makes a ton of torque. i don't know if i would go any higher than 3.23's.

A 90's caprice or roadmaster gas tank will work on gbodys cars but it will be super close to the spare tire area and you have to relocate the filler neck a little different. If you got rid of the spare tire area it fits perfect. But the cheaper routes with less modification would be the grand national tank or Eldorado tank definitely the gas tank straps from a Eldorado since there just about 3-4 inches longer than gbodys straps.
