I just drove my Salon to my local gas station for fuel and a Monster Energy drink. There was a car hauling diesel rig there with some old cars on it. The guys were walking around my car when I came out of the store. First question he asked is if it's for sale. I said no. I also told him it is not a real 442. I have been asked if it's for sale at least 10 times since I started driving it. The guy said he buys and sells. I opened up the hood and trunk to show off and he offered $10,000. I said I don't really want to get rid of it right now. We talked for a bit and he said one final offer $12,000. He said he couldn't make much more on it after that so that would be it. I politely refused and said I've worked on this car for a few years and I did all the work and not selling it to someone to make more money on something I put all the time in on. Some may think that that's a good offer but you can't build this car in the good quality for $12,000. It's all brand new and the paint job alone would cost someone big money.
