You can improvise a pin tool with a small socket that has an inside diameter larger than the pin a bolt with a couple inches of threads on it that screws into the pin a flat washer and a nut.
Put the nut and washer on the bolt thread them back most of the way to the head of the bolt, put the socket over the pin screw the bolt into the pin run the nut and washer down to the socket so it holds the socket in place. Hold the head of the bolt and tighten the nut into the socket. Home made pin puller.
Always remove the big tilt spring on the bottom (has a tin cover with a square hole in it, press a large flat screwdriver corner to corner in the square hole and press and turn like a bayonet light bulb) before removing the pin.
