Let me reword that. Pic is 21 years old. Approx 9 months old in that pic. Have saw one once that was almost 21 years old though.
Following pics are from 5 years ago, a few hours before we took her to be put down at age 16. Her mother lived to 17.
Tongue was long too on that dog. First time falling asleep with her , I awoke to something up my nose seemed like almost up to my eyeballs.
Mine were a combo of lap dogs/stone cold killers. At about 15 years old, this frail looking little dog caught & crushed a nearly grown cat's back in her mouth. Never make fun of a weiner dog for their small size.

I may as well jump in. These are our two. Crank and Stroker. Crank is an 8 Year old pure bred English Springer Spaniel. Stroker is an 8 year old purebred German Short haired Pointer. We had plans to train them for hunting Pheasant and Partridge. But working at CP rail I was never arround to give them the training they needed. The GSP has amazing instincts and get absolutely pumped when I pull the shotgun out of the safe, however he has poor recall. The ESS has no interest in birds he would rather chase his own shadow around.

Here is our Gypsy. She is a Australian Cattle Dog/Meth Lab mix. Sheās crazy, but lovable. Sheās six. We got her from a rescue after our Schipperke/Border Collie mix passed at 15 years old.
