paid 180 for the Howe and it works great with no modifications

So you bought a clutch master cylinder, a slave/throwout and all the lines and hardware you needed to "bolt it on" with for $180?

:bs:

Post a link to this kit. It needs to be in a sticky thread somewhere.

can you read?.,...I said I paid 180 for the Howe, where does it say I paid 180 for the Howe, master and SS line and hardware???..and if you knew what a Howe throw out bearing is you'd know is there is no slave used

next time maybe you should just ask if you don't understand what I posted instead of jumping in with both feet.. :wtf:

You implied that you "only" paid $180...I assume in comparison to my statement about paying $500 for the McCleod kit that I bought. That kit included the master cylinder, the slave/throwout, a remote reservoir and all the lines and hardware. Your statement was vague at best.

Its all moot though because the OP doesn't have any of the mechanical linkage anyway. Either way he decides to go is going to be expensive. The Gbody clutch linkage is rare as hell to begin with, much less in a junkyard...and any that ever shows up on ebay is usually ridiculously priced.

The main reason I chose to not use the hydraulic setup was because of the big block...the headers were just too close to it. It wouldn't have been reliable after extended periods of driving. Would be a much different story with a small block in the car.

I didn't imply anything...you misread it but if you don't have the balls to apologise it doesn't surprise me

and your pm didn't surprise em either

I see that I have met my first drama queen of the G-body forum. I'll whip your little smart *ss, shipmate. Best thing you can do is leave well enough alone - like I did.

I have used complete 80's Camaro T5 trans and accessories with no issues . Shorter drive shaft and pluming the clutch stuff. Thats was with have the paddles to start with .
