I put UMI’s 2” springs in the rear of my SS and they did exactly that (vs stock), I had Eibach’s and wanted it even lower, dropped it over 1” more than the Eibach’s, so 2” total. Ride feels good too, can’t really tell much if any difference than the Eibach’s back there either.

When you get to the front end there are so many factors at play and things to consider, not making excuses for any issues they had but cars have different weights(engines, bumpers, AC) so a front spring likely won’t be one size fits all.

I’m thinking 5660 moog for fronts now with maybe a trim if needed. Don’t know if I’m going with lowering springs now. Been doing a lot of reading.

So I just happened to have the stock rear spring from my 84 Cutlass and placed it next to UMI's rear 2 inch lowering spring.

Also I have used UMI stuff before and was very very pleased with the performance (2000 TransAm)
I believe this rear is 130 and I don't know what the stocker is rated.
I have never had a problem contacting UMI. Matter of fact I feel their customer service is too notch.
Can't wait to get it all together

I am surprised about the negative reviews as well. My complete suspension setup is UMI, however, the springs are Eibach. I purchased a stage 3 kit from UMI a while ago and the Eibach springs came with it. No complaints with the springs or any of the rest of their stuff. Everything bolted right up and the handling was dramatically improved. this was at least 8 years ago. Customer service was great as well, Ramey, in their sales Department took care of me.
