Insane Junkyard Lots of Pictures

Thanks, but it would be one of those "I just want to look around"-and-come-back-with-a-bunch-of-junk-I-don't-need trips.

That's what I was thinking too.

It would be nice to know of a yard with older stuff in it. The last place I dealt with that always had everything I needed for my 77 Grand Prix, is now shutting down. This place is much closer to me than Tulsa, Oklahoma.

If you see anything you want, I'm gonna try to take another trip there soon, let me know and I'll try to grab it for you.

Joe, if the air cleaner lid and accessory brackets for the 430 are still available can you grab it for me please? Just let me know the cost and shipping to 85140. Thanks!

I wish there were more yards in iowa. I only know of one that had anything older than 1990.

Check u check that Monte for me and see if the headliner is intact.

Thanks!!

I would love to get the air deflector and hardware off of the malibu wagon

Cool yard, like those places that never crush stuff. Less and less of them around.

my local junkyards in central il told me they wouldnt even mess with stuff like ours its "too old" and if a cutlass or monte came init would go straight to the smasher and scrap metal area. wouldnt even make it to the parts lot. I wish there were some good ones around here

Glad you like the yard. I know where the steering column for the stick Malibu up by the tires is, my garage! I even have the now expired inspection sticker out of that blue Grand Prix (was good when it first showed up & I needed one to move my Monte around at the time. 😗) That red Malibu has been sitting there for over 20 years like that. They hold on to stuff as long as possible as you can tell. If those pic were just of were you only looked you missed out on a few other cars. I might have to figure out how to get the Jr. mechanic in there to check out those buckets & other goodies in the Monte.
I was going to say, grab the console out of the Monte if it's intact and not all cracked. I'm surprised it still had the lid on it. They're usually ripped off, removed, or just deteriorated. Even the seats if they're not too roached out.
That yard is full of treasures. Cool place.
