I have a pair of bucket seats, and a center console with all the cables, and the wiring harness with the shifter.

How does the process take place and what else do I need to make the change over

Is it a straight bench or split bench? If its a single solidbench you will. Need the brackets out of a donor car to weld in. If its a split bench your golden.

1) take front seats out of car

2) mount shifter and center counsel route the cable (somewhere you'll have to adress the backing lights)

3) install new seats

4) get car in the air disconnect column shift

5) install cable shift make sure its aligned right.

Did you make sure the shifter is compatable with your car? Ie 3 speed shifter 3 speed trans?

Its decent set of wrk . YOu need the brackets for the center console , They need to be welded in or srcewed in (which I did with self tapping screws). In the correct place where it suppose to be. You need to take measurements frm a cutty with center console the distance of each mounting brackets then I will suggest screw them into position then sit the shifter and console over it.. Then you need to drill hole for the cable. The floor board already have a spot for that .. I can go on but PM for more info if you need it.... I did it on my 1980 and it turn out really good..

you will also need the clip that goes on the end of the cable to the trans. u will also need the linkage piece that the cable bolts to off of a console car as well as the bolt that goes thru it.

you will also need to know if the shifter and cable are the right one. 3 spd or 4 spd

I have the shifter assembly which contains everything mentioned except for the bracket the cable attaches to under car...I assume, and this shifter was for a 4 speed transmission
