But it's MY show your referring to right ? Grab your popcorn, and script my threads for that show right ? 👀

I get the game ok lol...you're white and I'm wrong...I get it.

I guess I'll play along before this "I'm not racist" spill prolongs itself...🤷🏾‍♂
I don’t care what race you are, or if 24 inch rims is what you prefer. That’s not the issue.

What is, would be you not acknowledging your part in this. I get some of the comments that were made definitely went too far, and calling that out is the right thing to do.

But don’t forget, this didn’t escalate for no reason, it’s a two way street.

Again it’s the fact you don’t make helping you easy by not willing to take advice, so then you choose to do it your way, then it doesn’t happen to work well you run back asking to help put out your own fires.

But if you would just listen to us in the first place, because if something did go wrong? Then at least we can take some responsibility for giving the wrong direction. But not if you are going to ask for help, then discount what’s been offered.

We want your vehicle running and reliable. Everything else like a subwoofer setup, hydraulics, 24’s etc can be done later haha 😤👌

Question is, I installed the Performer RPM not too long ago and the gaskets are still in good shape and match what I'm putting on...can I reuse these gaskets...?

And before I put it on, should I clean the pushrods and lifters ?

New gaskets, clean surface areas, prevent debris from going into crankcase. Change oil more often with the right oil. Go synthetic or a 10w-30 or so.

What's wrong with using the same gasket ?

Really not that much wear and tear that I can visually see...
the gaskets compress over time(short time) and it's a gamble to reuse them.they're not expensive so it's cheap insurance to change them.Axisg mentioned the term china wall, the new gaskets come with two rubber strips like you currently have on the front of your block, they have a tendency with aluminum intakes to push out causing a decent oil leak, the china wall refers to a stout bead of rtv in place of those rubber gaskets.the bottom of your new intake shows what he's referring to.pick up a chiltion or a Hayes manual for your car, they're a good cheap resource.they cover a lot of procedures and it's solid info too.

Think im going to take my chances with the gaskets I have, they're not even 6 months old and less than 200 miles on them...

I plan on the oil change...have everything ready to go...
