Hey I'm a new guy. Name is Mike. I just got the bug for a Gbody after being tired of the honda scene. I love power but I also love to cruise so I figured a Monte Carlo or Regal would suit me good. I have been currently trying to get out of my V6 monte carlo and into a true SS. Almost got lucky but I guess the car is sold so I am still on the lookout. I hope that when I do find one I can get some help properly modifying it. I don' t need super speed but I love a big cam and loud exhaust note.

thanks guys. I have been reading up on just the basics. I think I am in pretty good shape so far since my dad has been working on Chevys for his whole life. I actually found a monte carlo ss which happens to be the exact color I wanted minus blue rally stripes. I just hope he still has it because I want to take a look at it next week. From the description it only has a few minor modifications. I am kind of excited but they go fast around here.
