If I recall correctly, you're not doing the roof and haven't done the doors or endgate either. The roof eats up a bunch, doesn't seem like the doors will be too bad. I do know that a hundred square feet won't do it. ...

Reading the build thread...

"Finally scored an aluminum core support. It's incredable how light one feels over the other. Tried to buy several of these in the past and always seemed to be a day late. Best thing to do is quit looking for what you're looking for and you'll find it. Seems to work with love and car parts...."

Actually, that's what I call the "Lego Inverse Findability Theorem". I figured out LIFT when I was about seven years old. Big pile of Legos. Need one small part to go forward. Unfindable. Stop looking, move onto something else, and five appear like magic right in front of you.

Oops. Missed the roof part of the plan...

Yeah, so it would be about 50 sq/ft for the floor pans/rear deck, plus whatever the inside of the roof measures out to be.

I am really hoping that my roof doesn't resonate when the car is running because getting the headliner out is a pain.

So you guys think 100 sq ft will cover the basic roof and floor pans including the cargo deck ? Thanks guys.

roofing ice shield is similar to GTMAT ONYX (10 sqft at $44) Automotive Sound Dampening Real True Butyl and a lot cheaper at $150 for 225 sq feet. My friend who owns a stereo shop uses the ice shield on cars to dampen the sound and to stop sheet metal vibrations. I used it on my GP
