1 thing after another😞 i was driving and this guy yells "is it for sale!?".....i gave him a thumbs down as i went past....i should drive in that area again😂
 
If you have not done this already, check for proper grounds and no corrosion on the battery terminals. Starters pull a bunch of current that can arc through corrosion - until it can't. After that, take the battery in for a load test. Then check that the alternator is charging.
 
Wires are good. Brand new really. No corrosion. Alt tested good few days ago. I know the battery will die after a week in the winter. But then i kept it on the tender.
 
Now the Car starts and shuts on the first time everytime! I tried to see the starter amps using the fluke meter but i dont think its accurate
 
I guess the battery is 4 yrs old.

Shops want between 3 and 500 to replace the ignition switch....and possibly more if the column needs rebuilt. I didnt think it would be that expensive.

I drove the car another 30 minutes. Got home. It wouldnt turn off. I smacked the steering wheel twice and it turned off. Also, battery/alt is around 12.2 volts....i seen that video. And other videos....looks like a b*tch. I dont know if i can handle it......
