Proof that I didn't do one thing and immediately forget about the car.

I've been so sore lately I just haven't been up to doing much of anything. I majorly screwed up my shoulder and then sprained my wrist a few days later. Feels like its finally starting to heal up but last week was a waste.

I did take a ride to Summit Racing on Saturday. Summit is one of those places where one of two things happens- Either I go there and end up spending way too much on junk I didn't need or... I go there, get overwhelmed by the sheer amount of stuff they have, forget what I came for and leave without buying anything.

It's still fun though.

Fabbed up a small patch for around that front body mount area. Nothing fancy, just welded it over top of the what was there. I'm too embarrassed by the welds to post a picture so you'll have to wait until I get the grinder out to see it. I'd like to blame the machine but I know it was just my impatience for welding to rusty metal whilst upside down.

Bro if you saw the welds I made with that *ss Ironton welder in the dark upside down with only safety squints and Jesus as my guide, you'd throw up.

Eh, these were pretty bad. After the second ball of molten metal dripped in my sock, what little patience I started out with completely expired.

Just say I came down to do it since I am great at making grapes when I weld.
