No highs, no lows, absolutely blows?? Must be Bose.
.
My only experience with Bose stuff was in my Corvette. The Bose systems use low impedence speakers...maybe 1 ohm if I remember right. Which means, at least in the vette, when the head unit takes a dump, you get to replace all the speakers since they won't work with most any other system.
Basically, anything else. Bose is still riding tech from the 70s.What's with all of the Bose hate??? What/Who is a better?
Is that to just get the internal amp to work? So I'd want 12V going into that wire? And the other 4 wires are just power/ground and speaker in/out?I finally got into directehs, and the only pertinent audio information was that the amp turn on wire is green/white.

They sound good at moderate levels when used inside of their proprietary system. It's a pretty fridge magnet.

I guess I have a different ear for this stuff, because over the past ten years (or so?): Bose's portable speakers, the Wave system, etc. - all sound better than anything else I've heard. My guess is that you guys are comparing them to the 'Corvette' (so-to-speak) of sound systems, maybe?
