I wanted to brighten up my cluster on my 82 Malibu so I pulled off the gauge cover and decided to replace the bulbs with green led bulbs. There are 8 bulbs behind the primary gauges. All bulbs were 194. I even did the turn signal bulbs and my sunpro gauges. From those dim green Chevy gauges to this.

If you want the best, longest lasting LEDs, I can't recommend superbrightleds.com enough! I buy all of mine through them, along with all my buddies.

The Ebay bulbs seem like a good deal.

That website seems pretty good. Might try them out in a few weeks for a complete l.e.d bulb swap all around the car. Question, I put a 1157 l e.d bulb in my rear taillight and it smoked up. I emedatily pulled the fuse and tried to get the bulb out. The bulb had broken in half in the socket and heated the socket up bad, anyone ever had this or knows why it did that?
