would it be possible

would it be possible to take the stock gauges out of the stock housing and put in aftermarket? it just wouldnt plug in like the stock did

the set-up isnt complete yet, it needs a little fixing up and some wiring, but heres what it looks like now:

gauges

i wanna do what you did. but have some ?'s, 1st how did you make your new "cluster" piece to fit such as making it and bolting it?, 2nd what about your turning signal's? and how do you wiring all the gauges with the after market?
also mine application would be for DD.. not pro street

that guy bought the custom cluster peice from me a few months back, it took some time to make it out of sheet aluminum, i still have the original template tho, basically tho, its the same shape as the bluey/green plastic peice the the gauge cluster is bolted to. turn signals are those green indicator lights your see on the sides and the blue is for highbeams in the center. so that cluster bolts directly to the dash where the existing cluster would have, and you can even use the clear cover on the orginal cluster to fill in the gap and protect your new cluster. if that makes sense.

how much would you want to make another cluster? an where do you find turning signals like that an since there wired through the original cluster where would you connect the wire

thanks for answering for me, lol. and the wiring is a whole separate step. i havent gotten to that part in my project yet, but ill do a write-up fro the gauges.
