Yes mine is an 81 as well... but the pics I have posted were when I first bought it and before I put in a million hours detailing it, lol.

And almost the same equipment. I ordered mine with hubcaps and put wire basket wheels on within 2 weeks after I had it. Then about 10 years ago I found a set of 14" snowflakes and had them redone. I also couldn't find the correct size whitewall so I ordered a set of Diamondback tires and had them put a 1" whitewall on new tires.

82 Grand Prix I bought last September sight unseen. Really nice body and paint. I'm not a fan of the burgundy pillow top seats. I have buckets and the back seat out of a Monte that will be going in. I'll be changing the interior color to black. Right now I'm re-doing the underhood. It came with a worn out 400 and a Saginaw 4-speed. It was a diesel when it rolled off the line. I got rid of the leak-a-saurus 400 and am working towards putting in a crate long block. I will probably start a build thread. I'm new to posting on forums. I have always just been a visitor. I always wanted a G-body. Now I have one.
