Did you modify the hood to clear the air cleaner? Or is it just a tight fit?

The front edge of the air cleaner lid just barely touches the inner hood brace.
I also had to remove one of the clips for the center hood molding above the wing-nut.

The condition of your body mounts will play a huge factor into how much room you get.
I plan on replacing my body mounts soon, as well as replacing the hood with a factory aluminum one.
If my new hood still hits, I will notch the inner brace to clear it properly.
