Lets see your garage

Ok all these pics fired me up to work on my carport today. After parking the 79 Buick in the carport on that roadbase I put down last month, I was amazed at how dusty it got...fast. I'd planned to cover the roadbase with pea-gravel to both look better and keep the dust down, but had not done it yet. SO I went back to the rock place, but instead of pea gravel I got 5/8 inch white crushed linestone.

After three truck loads, once again tonight I can't lift my arms, but the carport floor looks much better. Once I spread it out I sprayed it with water to settle it, let it dry, and then parked the S-10 on it. No dust, not tracks, came out awesome.

I'd posted the roadbase-floored carport pics at the top of this thread. Here are pics from this afternoon if you want to see how it came out. My 2-year-old was in a posing mood. Ha! Will be parking the 79 Buick and 88 Cutlass here.

Such fun!

After seeing some of your guy's garages, it has motivated me to start cleaning up and making mine look cooler.

I don't have any good pictures of the garage, lol, but I have a couple of the other project vehicle that kinda show what I have to work with. Crappy part is the malibu is too big to fit in and walk around so it still has its work done in the driveway, or only half in at a time  .

Looking down the side, tool cabinets in back, and wood stove for those cold winter days, lol.

Looking down the other side, more tool starage and that's about it.

Diagonal view, workbench in the corner....Yes the other car is tiny to be able to fit in there and have acceptable room to work on it  .

Here's my garage circa 08... (Newest pics I've got).

It looks pretty big til you put a car in it, specifically my 72 Satellite wagon which resides in there, in which case good luck moving past it, though most if not all work gets done in there, and ALL work on the wagon is done in there. (The passenger side, pulled in, is so tight, you can't slide past the car yet I've done the brakes in there... )

I'll see if I can snap a few new pics, theres a lot more tools and parts in there now...

You know you've made it in life when you have a beer fridge out in the garage. That and a decent sound system and you can pretty much live out there. 8)

Where all the Magic happens....."Tha SPOT!" still working on it. Future plans include a craftsman 6' work bench, mig welder, air compressor and a sandblasting cabinet. New paint and epoxy flooring will be done once I get the suspension and drive trains installed in both the camaro and nova
