Hopefully, not ground on a Ding How core.......
Hopefully not. I have two of them, both have held up fine, looked good on the lobes. I had a tick on one lifter. Found my signature series valve covers were dented enough. I believe I swapped one lifter, still a tick. I then noticed, straightened the valve cover and retorqued the bridge. I swapped it from a 403 to the 350, cam looked great and was fine till the truck burnt to the ground. I also have one picked up used and same thing, in great shape. Those cams aren't aggressive enough and usually installed with wimpy stock springs, it makes a difference.
