Next project after my olds...
20190526_154637.jpg
No real rust to speak of, just a spot on driver rear door from trim and passenger fender needs replacing, interior near perfect and runs good. This will be my driver next year, might supplant the olds as winter project.
Will be replacing drivetrain for sure and all basics like lowering, brakes, suspension etc. Been looking for one for a long time and it was in a buddies yard for 10 years and I never even saw it.

That interior is in really nice shape for a 40 year old car.

Wow!! Good score...and to think your buddy has been holding out on you all this time.
I'm impressed on how nice the interior is. Nice dash...even the headliner looks new. I see a lot of potential there. Keep us updated on your progress.
Btw, are you planning to redo the wood grain?

held out on me because he wanted to buy my GN, and knew I needed a floor. He had the 86 cutlass I am now parting as well, which if I would have gotten sooner might have kept the Gn and restored it.
I am going to remove it and see how it is under the decal. My last woody was a 74 matador and when I removed it the paint was perfect.
