Hello all, been looking at a 1983 442 and cam across this. Seems to be a decent price but still a little rough. kinda want yalls thoughts on the car. Worth the price, to expensive, etc. Of course im in TX and the car is in NY. Thanks for the help.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Is it crazy priced - not really seeing it's a Hurst Olds but I question why it hasn't sold and the big price reduction. It's going to take a lot of $$$ to get it back to it's former glory and remember it doesn't have an 8.5 rear. You also need to add the price of getting it home. Depending on how serious you are you need to see a lot more pic's and possibly ask one of our members that are close to put some eyes on it. From what I see I would personally leave it alone

I love it when metal not usually exposed to the elements starts to rust... case in point - the steering wheel.

This is a weird one because it is an HÉO... tabarnak esti calisse... my wife switched the fooking keyboard en Francais!

...switches it back to 'Merican...

H/O... FFS.

So yeah, if you could get it for cheaper, or you really like the patina... you could either restore it or build a clone out of a cleaner car.

Look at that gas tank......yummy
