Fremont NV or MN? 4bbl is better then a 2if I'm correct. Anymore info that the vin gave you? I should be picking it up this week.

That's all the vin said, i dont know about mn or nv but I'm sure you can look up chevy factories in 79 and see. Yes the 4bbl is a lot better than the 2bbl, I'm actually looking to replace my 2bbl

436686 is your consecutive build number.

You should have a 305 4 bbl powered 79 Monte Carlo. Transmission behind the 305 was the Metric 200.

ok everyone I have picked up the car cleaned up the inside a bit, took a look at the oil that looks like it had just changed, coolant is nice bright green and transmission fluid is a pink to dark pink.
