Lowering and wheel offsets...

I should mention how I came up with $350 to $400

... a few years ago, I tried to install ZR1 Corvette wheels on a car. They were 17x9.5 with 56mm offset. The math worked out that I needed 2.5" adaptors. At that thickness, hubcentric is highly recommended.

... quality hubcentric adaptor with knurled pressed in studs, are close to $70 to $80 a piece. After taxes, that's $380. After shipping to Canada, they were gonna cost me $450.

upgrade extended wheel studs and new lugnuts were gonna be another $45 + $50 ontop of that... so we're looking at $545 before I could even mount my wheels.

$400 used wheels, $1000 for a set of 275/40R17s, $545 to mount them = $1950 total............ no thanks...
... you can bet, the project ended there and the wheels were sold right away..

^^^ Now that is quality, first hand info.

Okay then, figure on me lowering the car 2 inches still.

What wheel out there is around a 17x8 with a multi-spoke design, that would have a 4" BS?

I was planning on running "Drag DR-37" wheels from Discount Tire. I have had them on 2 cars and love them. I would like that same look, and they have to be ALL BLACK!

20mm isnt that bad i heard that our cars are 0 offset.
also if your into import racing rims i would better recommend xxr962 they actually have our right bolt pattern and all you would need is a spacer.

I found some 17x8, 20mm offset wheels. Thats a little better. Still too much offset?

I was actually looking at xxr wheels, but I was having a hard time getting specs on them.

I will check out the 962
