I should mention how I came up with $350 to $400
... a few years ago, I tried to install ZR1 Corvette wheels on a car. They were 17x9.5 with 56mm offset. The math worked out that I needed 2.5" adaptors. At that thickness, hubcentric is highly recommended.
... quality hubcentric adaptor with knurled pressed in studs, are close to $70 to $80 a piece. After taxes, that's $380. After shipping to Canada, they were gonna cost me $450.
upgrade extended wheel studs and new lugnuts were gonna be another $45 + $50 ontop of that... so we're looking at $545 before I could even mount my wheels.
$400 used wheels, $1000 for a set of 275/40R17s, $545 to mount them = $1950 total............ no thanks...
... you can bet, the project ended there and the wheels were sold right away..
