Lowering springs rear?

I would change the 4 springs so you keep the car balanced. The UMI rear springs are a higher spring rate and are linear instead of the stock progressive rate. If you are using the stock front springs they do not come close to the 530 lbs spring rate that UMI suggests to use with their 2" drop rear springs.

Do you have suggestions on front springs? UMI are good but maybe something less expensive?

I have the moog 5660 in the front, each 1/4 coil cut is 2" drop on a G body. There are other members here who have used other moog springs on the front who could give you some suggestions.

If you want 1" spacers and can wait a few weeks, I'll give you a set for shipping costs. I'll be pulling them out of the Pig next chance I get to work on it...
Thanks for the offer but I think I will work on getting the front lower.

I think if you use the 5660 coil uncut with a 2" drop spindle you'll get your 2" drop in the front. Perhaps someone can confirm that or correct me

Here's a good pic of our car on 2" springs all around. Standard a-arms and spindles. P/N 3051

[email protected] if you have any questions.

Thanks!

That drop spindles?

If you want to find out how the car handles with those springs just ask them. Their green machine has been on the track with those springs. Ramey races circle track, I think he has a pro late model, so he knows what a car is doing.
