lq4 in 84 cutlass

i wanna do a lq4 swap on my cutlass! has anybody ever done this swap before?? what do i need to make this a succesful swap?? btw, can a th350 bolt up to this motor??

On MalibuRacing.com there is a section called LSxTech. There is a bunch of good info and several write-ups of nothing but LSx swaps and info. There is also an EFI section so this is just LSx stuff. The LS - Malibu swap would be identical to a g-body swap.

I dont believe a th350 will bolt up... I know a 700R4 will bolt up, minus one bolt. I had a 700R4 bolted to the LS-1 in my Camaro for a few weeks, before I decided to go T-56. I would recommend using the 4L60e, myself, as they are just as good and have the added feature of being electronically controlled... (Paddle shifters, anyone?)
