LS Fuel sending unit on wagons?

Question...I thought the LS engines had a returnless fuel system. Seems like the ‘98 truck pump has a return line. Is this going to be an issue?

Not an LS guy, I think some have returns, some do not...but it's been over a year since I was looking at this stuff

My setup is for an LT1 installation, which uses a return line. I started reading LS swap stuff which led me to a bunch of different methods, and then I ran across the truck pump by searching OE applications for EFI and tank configuration.

The Vetteworks piece lets you use the returnless LS F body pump (with anti-slosh pump well) in a steel tank

Yeah, it’s unfortunate that a lot of the vendors that make coupe parts don’t support the wagons. Guess we just have to be more resourceful. Thanks for the info, Ribbedroof.

Yeah CaliWagon83, I'm using the 94 Astro sending unit. I'm just going to be careful and not run the fuel below half tank.

I can't remember who it was, but someone posted something about the Holley Hydramat. Seems like it could be a good solution to prevent fuel starvation. https://www.holley.com/products/fuel_systems/hydramat/
