Not that I know of. I've seen plenty of carbed LSs but, all had the electronic ignition that uses the computer to run it. Although a lot were not using the stock computer. Using aftermarket computers, now we're talking some bucks.

I second using the factory transmission out of the lt1 car, as far as overdrive transmissions go the 4l60e is pretty decent and if it is a stick car the t56 is arguably the best manual transmission ever made. Also things to consider keeping are front and rear brake calipers, mounting brackets, and front spindles as well as the factory pedals and clutch system if it's a stick.
