Shocks for the front came in today, mocked up the upper shock mounts to see what kind of room I have to work with. Not alot but I think I can make it work. Maybe a little notch here and there.

Got the drivers side mockup done, new rims and tires should be here this week, once I get them on I'll finish with the welding on the front.

Found a piece of scrap pipe at work,
And figured why not do a shock tower brace instead of buying one.

That it for this weekend.

Finished up the driver's side frame boxing today.

And made a rotisserie out of a couple engine stands. It should help out when I paint the frame.

That's it for this weekend.
Hopefully next weekend I'll be able to get the motor and trans in the frame so I can mock up the trans crossmember.

Came to the conclusion my control arms won't work in the front, I ordered some extended arms, that will allow me to run the shocks from the lower arm like this . Screenshot_20230806_172737_Chrome.jpg
I was abel to get the driver's side transmission mounting mount welded in.

Hopefully next weekend I'll get the motor and trans mocked up so I can drill the holes for the crossmember.
Now I just have to wait for the control arms and shock mounts to arrive so I can finish the welding .
Then ill be abel to start prepping and painting the frame.

Still waiting on my new control arms and shock mounts. I haven't done much to the frame because of that .
But did decide to upgrade those tiny c6 calipers and rotors. Ended up going with the blazer spindles, cadillac ats brembo calipers and c6 z06 rotors, hopefully they will look a little better in the wheels.
