As far as I know Malibu 2 and 4 door frames are the same.
Again, this is correct.
BUT, not all 2 doors are the same.
The difference is that the 4 doors and Malibu have the short stubby front frame rails.
It is very noticeable when you look at where the frame curves up to the front bumper shocks.
sh*t so that means the 4 door regal i just got has the stubby frame? good for a malibu but not a 2 door regal?
If G body frames were different then why are these frames advertised for all of the models expect the wagon

You shiuld be able to crawl under your car to compare the very front of the frame.
I "think" the malibu, lemans, grand lemans, Grand Am and 4 doors have the shorter frame, and either the Regal or Cutlass.
They must not realize Malibus have shorter front stubs. I can confirm this as my Monte Carlo front frame horns are longer than on the Malibu frame I have. They seem otherwise identical.
