Something else- all I use now are brass floats. Since doing that, not once have I had a sinking float, like you get with the plastic ones. That used to drive me crazy what with fuel absorption, intermittent flooding and stuff. Plus, they can be repaired with a soldering iron, but I have never had one go bad.

I use the brass float as well, another advantage is they are smaller in size than the plastic ones so you get more fuel in the bowl
