Measuring front sway bar

I measured my front sway bar and it mesured about 3 1/2 inches. How do I convert that to MM? Not to hot with fractions and conversions.

That's an huge sway bar.... I'm pretty sure you measured it wrong.

The easiest way to correctly measure it is to just slide the open end of a wrench over it until you find the right size.

I measured the outside diameter.

the diameter is the width across the swaybar (top to bottom)

Did you wrap the tape measure around the swaybar to measure it?
If you did you measured the circumfrence of the swaybar.

a hair over 28mm.

3.5 inch circumference = 1.11 diameter.

1.11 inches = 28.19 mm

I used a vernier to measure mine. Fairly simple.
