Monte SS. WOW!! SS

Didn't feel like searching youtube that hard. First, I haven't posted any Donks on this forum. A Donk is a 1971-1976 Caprice or Impala. Second, lots of our cars have forced induction or nitrous on 'em. I can't make you a believer, but when you lose to one of us, I guess that'll change your mind. The rims honestly have no effect on the car if it's set up right. You set up a drag car and dial it in before you start racing people right? We do the same thing with our cars, and some of us set them up at the dragstrip.

Wl, a DONK is any type of car that is basically sitting up on wheels that are bigger than let's say 20". They are not just Caprices or Impalas. I never said that you have posted any Donks on this forum. There is nothing wrong with having forced induction or nitrous on them. but, the average everyday street car as in a Donk will not have these inductions running in them. So, that is why it will be VERY difficult to out run a drag car. As for settin up a car, yes the wheel size won't make that much of an issue when you set the car up to run accordingly to the wheel size with your stall and gearing. Yea, we test and tune the same way that you would with your big wheel cars. So, what I am saying is it is not impossible to beat a drag car. I am saying that an everyday one is not going to beat it. I thought that was what this whole aurgument was about. Everyday big wheeled cars out running a drag car. Not a Donk drag car out running a drag car. Why, are we just running in circles around each other over this??? :blam:

They will never understand what you try and tell them qdub24. You tried to tell them and they still don't know what a real donk is. :?

Lucky's donk may outrun them all. You know.

That car was a race car not a DONK. Why, is it that when you go to youtube and type in Donk you get pics of Cadillacs, Caprice, Regals, Montes, Cutlass, Impalas, Crown Vics, Linclolns, and a variety of others. I guess you need to get on Youtube and tell the restof the world that their cars aren't DONKS unless they are a Caprice or Impala and I bet they will give you the same thing I am a load of crap cause the rest of the country son't think like you two are. :wtf:

Rim size does make a difference. I mean aside from appearance and fashion. Same tire height & width, larger diameter rims can handle the curves better smaller rims can start & stop faster. Put a say 15" rimmed gbody that runs 11s on the street and he will out accelerate and do it safer than the same g with 20+" wheels. Naturally that may mean throwing fashing under the bus for some people just depends on what is most important to them.

The red car is a race car but at the same time, he can go home and take his slicks off and put rims on. Alot of guys wit big wheels don't race with them on. They take them off and put slicks on and then race. The only reason you see them playin in the street with big rims is because nobody wants to see a regular *ss Monte Carlo on 15's burning out or doing donuts. They want to see it doing all that on 22's,24's, 26's, or hell even 28's or 30's.

The rest of the world doesn't know what a real donk is either. We are trying to tell you guys the REAL definition of a donk but you don't seem to understand. A g-body can only be a g-body and a donk can only be a donk.

If you don't like or don't understand why guys like big flashy rims, then don't comment. :!:

Well to solve this issue, just bring your car down to Alabama, bring a video cam, and some cash since you know he races for money. Go see if you can get some quick cash for Christmas or Shut the hell up and stop talking $#!t about it. problem solved.

Exactly! Here's a perfect example from ATL, GA and it's fast or slicks and rims. It's a Box Chevy, not a Donk, and it has a SBC with a Procharger. He rides 24s on the street and slicks at the track.

This is another Box Chevy from ATL, GA. I don't know what's under the hood of this one, but it moves. He rides 28s on the street and slicks at the track.

You just proved my point. A car with drag radials and some semblance of a sidewall will be faster than a car with rubber bands for tires.

I don't want to see them burning out or doing donuts regardless  90% of the time a video of a car doing burnouts or donuts appears ignorant to me (and many others I'm sure).
