Do you have taller lower ball joints ? A BBC is pretty heavy but I take the hood is lightweight fiberglass. I may go with the 5658 than cutting a quarter coil from the 5660 if i can get a 1 inch drop in my GP with a Pontiac 400.

Any other mods to the front end or are you using stock arms and ball joints? Great looking car by the way!I've got 5660'S on the H/O and they are noticeably lower than stock View attachment 143546

F that... I switched to XX Dos Equis XX a couple months ago, just cuz! 🤣everyone enjoy your weekend and let all of the Corona that you catch come in 12 packs 🙂 🙂
5660 with iron SBC and A/C. I would say close to OE ride height. Definitely did not lower car, raised from the worn-out originals at least 1.5". MIGHT be a little lower than a new OE spring

So the 5660 won’t raise it to stock. How are the 5401’s?Everything I read on the 5660’s is if you want a 2” drop you will need to cut 1/4 off the bottom of the coil. I have not done this yet but did install them in my cutlass before I started to disassemble my car. From my stock springs to these I saw about a 1” drop from my factory springs. I am going for the 2” so once I get the car back together I will cut the spring to bring it down. My cutlass has the 307 in it before, but now will have a 96 LT1 that should weight about the same as the 307. I also put the 5401 rear springs in
