adjusted holley carb back to factory setting and hasnt died and is runnin like a beast lol fed my truck a ford b4 bed lol

okay update...while driving on the highway the motor will kill but this time i didnt touch the gas at all and it started back by itself...so why would it jus cut off and on??? people tellin me its fuel pump others say its the dizzy

sounds like a holley issue to me....try a different carb and not a holley

Remove the cap and rotor button, u'll c a yellow and green wire coming from the pick up coil pull on them 2 c if their corroded. Check the pickup coil as well. A common prob at this age.

455..I don't think the engine actually shut down since it wouldn't restart on it's own if it had. But you're right about that being a common problem
