nice touch on the wheel well tubs

thanks man, how's yours coming?

Its just sitting there, started a new job and finishing some shop work. So you said you didnt use spindles? if not then that will definitly get you laid out unless your engine cradle is already touching. I just need to finish some metal work on the cut panels then im going straight to the suspension, then engine, then body, then interior. Thats the plan but im usually trying to do everything at once, lol. Definitly some motivation for me to get done

yeah i'm using djm 2" s10 spindles. the engine x-member is touching again so i would need to z the front to lay, then i can do new rear link bar mounts to get that to lay, but since the z will take alot of extra work with doing a new tunnel, moving the steering colum etc... AND i want to drive it and not have it apart all summer i am going to let it go where it is for now. i will do the z, link bar mounts and a body drop over the winter. then i will be doing a motor swap next summer, i need to wait for some excess money that i will have coming in then to do it. I am going to start on the body work and shaving/suiciding after i get it back on the road now. At least I can drive it in between mods at that point.

Got most of the interior sheet metal done tonight, I will finish that tomorrow and hopefully get the bag mounts done too.

welding instead of rivets was a nice touch.
I'm going to be doing the same with my cutlass to close the trunk off from the passenger well (seat delete)

Those wheel tubs came out nice! I had planned on doing the same thing to mine for more structural support. What are you going to do for rear seats?

i am planning on cutting some of the metal and foam out of the factory seat to make it fit, then lay some fiberglass on the seat back to help strengthen it if needed. hopefully it all works out as planned.

wow great progress. you got alot of work done therE!

Well got alot accomplished this weekend, got the front frame pieces in, just used duplicolor bed liner over them for now, i will grind and smooth the welds out later when i am ready to clean up the frame. I got the interior sheet metal finished as seen in the previous post. and I got the bag mounts and bridge done, i still have some brake and fuel lines to redo and then get the tanks, valves & compressors back in to take it out to test it out. But far from done, have to remount the trunk, put the tubs in the trunk, and clean up some of the other metal in the trunk also.

the 2" round stock that I cut for the front frame

all welded in and sprayed with bed liner, bad pic, but the best it would come out for some reason?
