got the wiring and such for the valves all cleaned up and loomed. got the power, ground and switched ign into the trunk for the p/switch, and relay for the compressors. the compressors, tank, gauges and switch box are installed temporarily until i can get the money together for the sheet metal in the trunk and get the time to glass the radio panel to hold the gauges as well as the radio. I noticed at lift in the back the tires rub the frame so I had to cut the frame out and plate it. I was able to drive it a couple of blocks in my development tonight, without and problems. It is coming to an end, thank god! enjoy...

Wow ... that's a big hood ...

I think the job looks good though .. can't wait to see it all finished. I'll state again that you're car is not typically the style I like, but ... man you're car is looking good and the fact that you're doing so much fabbing to it makes it that much cooler!

+100 fabrication points! 8)

Ooooooo! A/C delete Regal! I hope you didn't hack up your heater box to clear those big hoops! Looks nice, makes me miss my '81 I had...

Whats all the clearance needed for? I probably would've went with a 2" glass cowl. JMHO.

didn't do it for clearance. but would have chose probably a 2.5 or 3" if i had to do it again. it is just slightly too high, but no diff than someone getting the 4" or 6" cowls that i see all over for these, this is just a little wider since we followed the body lines.

not a big update but got a little bit done tonight. the hood is bolted on now. and got the muffler on. got a glass \pack and it sounds good on the 3.8, not loud at all, a little throaty that is all. also the start of my new switch box is underway, just have to run some wires out of it. took the car out a couple times tonight in the development again and everything seems to be good so far

Started working on the trunk today, went pretty smooth. had to cut the center bar out from the hinge as the trunk hit the bent, I am going to weld it back in, but need to spin it out of the way of the trunk lid. other than that I have ot finish welding in the 1x1 that I tacked in for the mounts right now and then make some bars probably out of 1x1 for the front to "hook" in.
