On the shifter, maybe add spacers under the back of it. I found a mint monte console for $13 at the local scrapyard so i cut the brackets and riveted them onto the hump in factory location in my cutlass. Added about 1" spacers and my hurst now clears. Good lookin monte by the way!

Thanks! Appreciate your help 🙂

And sorry for interrupting your build thread 84_SS, keep up the good work!

Hey no worries this is a place to share info right!

Yea I'm still debating raising the shifter if i cant find a solid deal on a regal console. I just don't want anything in the way of the shifter especially when I plan on drag racing the car.

I hear that man! After putting the spacers in and dropping the console back down i hammered thru the gears to triple check it. However, maybe a little different that you have the pistol grip. Keep us all posted!

Got it back up and running in april after sitting for 3 yrs and had a fuel delivery issue causing the block to get too hot and crack. Now its sits like this waiting to go to body and paint!

As i always say " that's hot-roddin" let us know how it goes!

Just a little update, finally got around to running the upper and lower rad hoses.
They are the cut yourself deals from summit.
If anyone on here has used them, let me know if you've had any issues with leaks.
I'm having my doubts.

Finally made it out into the garage, managed to get some brake lines made up on my rear end and had to modify my front brake lines.

Also finally put some new sending unit in the tank, I bought a new one for the use of the fuel level sender and i also modified it for my fuel return. Planning on running a vent off one of the other port also

I know there was a few people curious about the brp ls swap mounts so I took a couple pictures of them

Here's the GM performance muscle car pan under the car, it actually doesn't hang to low, just under 2"

One of the only things I'm really not to please with fitment wise is the alternator, I'm running F body front accessories and I'm going to have to grind some clearance in my power steering box so I can get the serp belt on

Hopefully tonight I can get back out there and finish up the lines from the master down to the frame. Still have to finish putting the ceiling in my garage, but there isn't enough time in the day 🙁

Great thread.I can't wait to hear the 1320 times!!!!

Really hoping to be in the 10's with 15 pounds of boost running through the motor! I know with the turbo setups the weather is a very big factor.
