I bought it about 12 years ago. The original owner never drove it in the rain and babied it, so it was and still is in almost mint condition. I decided the orig 307 didn't match the cars looks, so I first installed a Chevy 350, and just recently a 383 stroker. Body has approx. 65K real miles on it (odometer not rolled around once). Still got the TH200-4R, but the only orig component is probably the casing. Also got the stock 8.5" 3.73 rear.

Here are some pics:

more pics . . . gotta replace the carpet, it faded even though it's been sitting in a dark garage for 10 years. weird.

Once I work-out some bugs, setup the AC, and rebuild the suspension, it's off to get sanded down to bare metal and painted. Already got most of the NOS trim pieces, door handles, etc. Even picked up a Hurst/Aero kit (that's it in pic below).

I'm modifying the paint scheme a bit. Going with a darker charcoal metallic grey on the bottom and blacking out the top half--while trying to keep it recognizable as a 442 . . .
