Now that you've got a modern hot rod you don't have to stress over the Monte and you can get it done when you get a chance. Let's see that Vette!
i am supposed to pick it up saturday morning.

still going to finish the monte because i started it so i want to finish it. whether i drive it or sell it doesnt matter point is i completed what i started without giving up.

to be honest my boy has a notchback mustang 1991 or so and I would love for him to put my engine and trans setup in that car it would run like 10.50s its so light completely stripped down right now naked

I can't wait to see some pics of the new Vette. What color is it? What options did you get? Manual trans? I love the newer Vettes.

I can definitely appreciate the "finish what you started" attitude. You're pretty close to "finished" right? Lol. I still think you'll enjoy the Monte Carlo when you get it going but driving the Vette might make it feel not as fast. Lol

X2 with Opie...i love the look of the new Vette's! Living a couple hours north of the Corvette plant in bowling green, i see truckloads of them all the time.

work got little slow last night so i welded in the pass side bucket seat brackets.

shop is open on monday but i anticipate it being slow.. if thats the case need to fill a couple of little holes and then vacuum the floor out and paint it with chassis saver (just like por-15). then i guess a carpet and put the seats in and its drivable

Good to hear your getting close to having the Monte drivable. Have you picked up the new Vette yet?
yep got it this morning left the lot with 2 miles on it , drove from atlantic city straight to my boys house in toms river (50 miles about) got it tinted, just drove home, 100 miles on the dot on it
