Of course nothing is ever finished and the bright asss led gauges weren't fitting the look of the car , and they blinded the sh*t out of me at night. So I slid in a set that had a better factory modified appearance.

I got it out a few times thru the winter and spring of 2021 but the temp gauge not dropping had me really annoyed, still running 195+ as the ambient air temps got higher (90+ by end of march in FL). Temp on the gauge didn't match what I was getting in different locations on hoses and radiator and termostat housing..... ended up finding THIS!!!! So the temp sending unit goes into the adaptor for the intake...right....it didn't come out the bottomof it and was in a "pocket" of hot air is all I can figure. Remember at this point I've swapped in 3 different gauges. I put in a long reach sending unit and the damn thing runs 175 all day long....

So when I started the rebuild I had originally picked up 275/50's for another project and used them for this, I used to run those and 295/50's back in the early 90's and liked the look. But it may have been the hoosiers vs a typical street tire, just didn't look like enough tire... and I was comparing to the MT Sportsman's 26x12.5's I had on it for 20 years(that they no longer make!!!). Ended up picking up a set of 275/60's.... what a difference in appearance!!!

Moved to NC mid 2022 and finally brought the Cutlass up in March 23'. Taken it out a few times and enjoying it till a few weeks ago... the china fuel pump decided to start leaking. I should've known it was going to happen at some point since this is the second one in the last couple years. Going with a Robb MC pump, but has led to a can of worms of my own making. A set of redesigned Edelbrock heads and ARH stainless headers are on the way. I'm also going to port match to the intake which I regret not doing the first...uhhh second....nope, third go around. So sometime soon I may be listing a couple things for sale.
