Its fine for a drag car where you are not likely to get rear ended. For a street car it looks like a detonation device to make getting rear ended a blast. I have seen a beautiful Buick GS burned up like this after getting rear ended waiting to get in at the drag strip in Columbus OH a few years back. Ever consider upgrading to an in-tank electric. Use a used tank from a 4.3 tbi Monte or a GN/Ttype or an inexpensive new tank of that type like what is listed on ebay. BTW this is usually cheaper & easier than making a sump or putting a cell in your trunk. If you buy a new tank you need the in tank type hanger etc. As for the pump http://www.racetronix.com look under Buick GN/Ttype as they make as they make it as much of a drop in plug & play type setup. Whether you are useing a carberator or fuel injection you should use a return style regulator such as the Malory 4309 as seen on Summit or Jegs sites. Also an inexpensive roll of fuel line and for my 442 I used a autoparts store factory replacement fuel filter for an early 90s 350 tpi Camaro as it was cheap and in stock.

Other benefits are its quiet like a new car and like a new car should last a long time. BTW I like the white face 145 speedo a lot.

Dogshit, i understand what your saying about the TBI tank but, i already had the pump and the tank. Now if i was starting from the begining i really would go that route, but for now i have to work with what i have. Right now the main thing is being comfortable with where my pump is mounted. That's one reason why i have'nt ran any lines yet. I really what to thank you for the comments you have given me very informative info. Also, Thank for the comment on my speedo, that's something i got from TR Customs. He sell alot of GBody stuff and you can find him on here as well. And once again i will let you know when everything is back together.

nice moves man your getting there with the regal.

dogshit, great info because i'll be doin some fuel upgrading myself. i have a 4.3l monte fi tank all stock with pump. i know i need to swap to a 255 and seems like i can buy a complete intank setup for my cutlass that will work for my lt1 swap from racetronix.

I really like that brake set-up, probably first thing to happen afte i get the SS painted in another couple weeks! Great job! 8)

Its been a while, and now that i got the lower control arms greased up, fuel lines ran and no leaks, now i can get the regal off the jack stands. I was able to get the regal back running, now i'm waiting on my electric cutouts and off to th exhaust shop. Here's a few pics that i took when i moved her out of the driveway.
