are you still happy with the restoration shop paint? i am really considering it for my cutlass, for base clear at 230 shipped i dont know how you can go wrong?

Looks great - what are those seats out of?

GTA wheels would look awesome on that car! ....the Firebird spoilers look really good on GP's and look factory. I like the idea of the high rise Camaro spoiler too - would be curious to see how it looks.

I'd personally leave the grill area alone - I think the rendering on the previous page makes the grill look far too big and out of proportion.

ok the dash needs to be black, the wood grain diamond plated, you need to do the grille, and you should get some GXP bages, but if not the car looks extremley clean as is. I am reallly digging that color.

I am very happy with the paint and would recommend it to anyone trying to paint on a budget. The seats are from a 82 TA, but they were options in the GP (but not in leather), my car originally had a cloth pair. I like the GTA wheels, and they were what I was originally going for but these were half the price. I am probably eventually going to go with 17" Torque Thrusts.

The entire interior is dyed. I need to put another coat on the front seats (I ran short and have not been able to get back to summit). It is holding up great on the back seats (where kids do ride), the panels are ok except where the door panels touch. I know it will need to be touched-up occasionally, but that should keep it fresh looking. For an interior that has 6 different color parts it turned out very good. I used Colorbond on the leather and vinyl (supposedly same thing Ford uses at the factory) and SEM on the plastic (I heard colorbond does not hold-up on hard plastic). I would recommend both, they work much better than the duplicolor I have used once before.

I have what I think is a TA spoiler but it looks too narrow, hence the need to modify the camaro spoiler. Sould a TA spoiler go all the way to the edge of the hood? The spoiler i have stops about 2-3" short on each side. Thanks for the positive feedback.

From what I recall of ones I have seen, the GP is a touch wider in the rear and the spoiler will be about an inch short on each side, but the angle of the turndowns match the quarters perfect and the raised centre section of the trunk make for a nice fit.

Poncho-gp's car here on the board w/ a T/A spoiler:
