i already have th color chart at home. i just have never been able to get anyone to tell me if the stuff is any good or if it sucked. tcpglobal made me mad a while ago because they never reponded to a email so i emailed them again about not getting a responce and they still never responded, i need to paint 4 cars at home and i could end up throwing allot of money at them but they wont respond?? anyways, i might still try them

I never tried to contact them so I do not have any experience to that respect. I can however say that once you order they do ship quick and accurately.

This will not be completed until next year becuase I am trying to get it drivable now, but this is a very poorly drawn concept of what my final grill design will look like. Squint and think of a squared off version of the 1968 GTO grill. Let me know what you think of the concept. I know the Microsoft Paint version of the drawing sucks.

The idea is to cut-out the center of the bumper and make it a one piece fiberglass unit with a split bumper. It would stick-out flush with the front of the bumper. The actual grill pieces would be the same material as in the hood scoop openings and would be recessed in the openings about 1 to 1 1/2".

I intend to have a temporary version sometime in the interim that would be to just cut out the black portion of my stock 3-piece grills and replace it with the material from the hood scoop. The chrome frame pieces have already been painted body color. Even that will probably wait a while (few weeks) and be one of the last things I do this year. I am just working to dye the interior, paint the trim and get it on the road right now.

I am just gauging feedback on the concept right now. I am not even sure I like it, but I think it will add to the GTO look.

i don't think it would be a bad idea. personally i like things that are a little different. uh would it like be straight and then once you got to the bumper curve or bend downward? can't really put into words what i am asking.

I do understand your symbols (I think) the front profile would match the front of the opening, so horizontally it would go to a point and vertically it would be straight (perpendicular to the center-line of the car).

So your kinda going for a 70 gto grill look i take it.Any thoughts on different head lights for it.I always did have a thing for the aero coupe grand prix doubt ill ever have one tho.

I think what you are tryin to do is have a split grill and remove the "crosshair" style correct? If you could get that done up with a custom billet insert it would look insanely awesome I think.

ah seeing the stock helps me. I think that would be a great idea. I liked it before but yeah i think it would look great
