Johnyslick you got it dead-on. I even think I may revise it and keep the bottom of the grill. It was originally the idea, but I had changed my mind. After seeing your picture, it is what I want. It should be easier than the hood scoop, so I am definitely going to try. Will make a great winter project.

I have the stock grill painted body-color with black grill for now. I have not been able to work on it this week - too busy. But, I plan to spend the holiday trying to get it done (or at least further). I really want to drive it this year.

Poncho - where did you get the photo of the Orange GP? Do you know the guy or where he got that spoiler? I plan on also making a spoiler for my car, but that one would work and save alot of labor. I have a 3rd Gen T/A spoiler, but I am not happy with the width. I really want that squared-off 2nd gen GTO look, and I think one of them had a similar wing.

I've had it done-ish for 2 weeks and have been driving it daily but haven't been able to load pictures due to camera issues. I have been to a few shows and all feedback has been positive. I still have to finish the dash and a few loose ends, but it is done for now. Let me know what you think.

Should I still change the grill, add a spoiler, and/ or the GTO badges? I am still on the fence. I may go with Grand Prix GTX badges. I think the performance and scoop are GTO-esque, but is it enough. I still think this is what the 84' 20th anniversary GTO should have been, but it may be pretentious to add the badges.

i love this car, i think you asked if you said you should do the grill still and my vote is yes

The right spoiler would work well. Are the wheels 15x8s? I like the idea of GP GTX badges.

The wheels are 16x8 1987 Formula wheels. I am going to at least try to do the grill this winter, and I think I am going to try to find a 91' Camaro tall spoiler to modify to fit (should look kinda like a 69 GTO spoiler) . That will be next year though.
