I don't really know what was done to it as far as tuning a friend of mine reprogrammed it with a download on his laptop and as far as bolt on's I did a Corsa cat back, throttle body spacer, and a k and n fresh air. I bought a new set of polished stainless steel headers for it but I never got to put them on. I got in an accident and it was totaled View attachment 72754 I miss that truck
Damn sorry to hear that, it's unfortunate. The 8.1 is a beast for sure. The headers are the toughest part. They where a true pita to install. I'll take a pic this evening

You used 5610 for a big block? Are the 5610 stiff?

No, they're not stiff. They're the same rate as the OEM Monte Carlo SS coils (420 lb/in). While that is stiffer than the V6 springs, the weight of the BBC still lets the nose bounce a bit over undulations in the pavement. I'm the sort of guy that likes the stock ride height, so I am very pleased with how they made the car sit.

Maybe someday I'll try switching to 5664s. They are a lot stiffer, at 767 lb/in.

Thanks a lot for the response. I'm leaning towards the 5664 so far.
