So, that list was a little on the optimistic side. I forgot about hooking up and bleeding the throwout bearing, motor mounts, and electric fans. Screw the exhaust; fire it on open headers because racecar! Then, I had all kinds of problems with the floats; hopefully, didn't wash a cylinder. That won't matter because the oil change revealed babbit in the oil. No Drag Week with the 442 this year; I can't afford to fix it. Run it til it goes!

Today, I tightened up the exhaust, the went after annoying rattles. Yeah, a cam lope shaking shirt to death is cool for a minute, but it gets old. I got rid of the chinga-ling-ling in the rear, then there's the center console lid and this 1 bumper bolt. I got all that shirt straight, and now let's go for an iRide.
Before bumper alignment

And some BBO, 4 speed, 3" exhaust for horsepower wh*res...

Just took a blast. Oil pressure isn't as high as I would like-40psi at 6k . Got a leaking axle seal. Part throttle stumble- could be bad gas or needs more primary jet. They still haven't opened my building, so I got tomorrow to replace the seal.

Couldn't find the seal number (just did them 2 years ago), called Moser, called Carquest, and the National cross reference was different than the ones they sold me last time. :wtf:

Enlisted the kid to help bleed brakes

Then, took her for a blast.

Nice tuck on the bumper. You may not know it but the impression that you have on that kid will last a lifetime. Took my kid ( 24 now, guess not a kid anymore ) for a blast in friends modded Miata I guess a year ago now. Full on smokey donuts with the top down. She barely cracked a smile. Said it's nothing like the memories she has in the Monte going for ice cream,..... sideways up the street 🙂 . awwww made my rusty old heart melt. Hope your kid treats the olds good when you hand it down !!
