I followed my mentor, the late Bobby Q, and wiped it down with diluted Mequires #7. That shirt will make a turd look good.

I didn't go all pick and file like our Canadian friend, but I decided to spruce up the headlight bezels. The finish is called bright dip, so any repairs would lead to a replate or polish. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! I went with some Nev-R-Dull and fresh paint.

Got some colder plugs today. Started it up, and things seem well. #2 was the only 1 with excessive oil, and all the rest looked as perfect as can be, except for a hot ground strap. I was going to put some timing back in, but I think I'll run this a minute. Line lock is on order; gotta get some heat in the Nittos.

I am falling victim to the might as wells: the 6AL is up above the inner fenderwell that is currently out. I could buy a 2 step for $100 or upgrade to a 6AL2 digital with it built in, I think. Decisions, Decisions...
