Hello Friends
I recently got an 84 that some one has done a lot of work on. It has new quarter panels, new doors, and very good front fenders. The interior is buckets with floor shift in pretty good shape except the fabric is off the headliner and the drivers seat has a small hole. The only serious rust issue underneath is the cross member under under the middle of the bed is gone, but it didn't get any rust proof in the past because it hides above the frame.
The frame and some of the body was rust proofed but it's hit and miss, the outside of the left rear frame was missed so it's rusted thru in different spots. I found a nice frame in Ohio about 45 miles west of here, it's under an 81 that must have had a good rust proof job. I put $ down and will pick it up next week after it's removed from the body. The one I have has the F41 items on it they will go on the replacement frame after some upgrades.
Looking forward to enjoying this forum. Paul T.
