I'm throwing a set of these into my street setup of a 4" split into 2 - 2.5" pipes. I'm concerned about power loss, but I'm looking to run in a Street 6.50 race this weekend and the car needs a 'muffler' of some sort and they previously wouldn't consider Mr. Borg Warner a muffler.

It should quiet it some - hopefully. I'll try to get a before and after testing in.

I ran those cones in my headers with my 509. I ran 9.50’s with them in there.

My son ran a 4" cone in his Cutlass with side exhaust in front of the rear tire. It wasn't quiet, but it eliminated all of the drone and the blat sub 5000 rpm's. It made it very tolerable to drive with the passenger side window down. Before we installed it, it was difficult to drive with the pass. side window down without ear plugs.

I would recommend one to anyone that isn't scared to have 60-80 decibal car.
